Who We Are

The Rotaract Club of Panadura (RACPanadura) is a dynamic, youth-led voluntary organization dedicated to community service, leadership development, and fostering meaningful fellowship among young people. Founded in 2008 and officially chartered on 26th March 2009, the club has grown into one of the most active and impactful Rotaract clubs in Sri Lanka, operating under Rotary International District 3220 — Sri Lanka & Maldives.

Guided by our motto, "Yeomen Service Towards Humanity," we are a collective of passionate young adults committed to creating positive and sustainable change — not just in Panadura, but across the nation and beyond.

Our Story

The global Rotaract movement was born in 1968 in the United States, and Sri Lanka welcomed it just a year later in 1969 with the formation of the Rotaract Club of Colombo. The Rotaract Club of Panadura became part of this proud legacy when it was founded in 2008, bringing the spirit of service and fellowship to the heart of Panadura.

Over the years, RACPanadura has grown from a small group of enthusiastic young individuals into a thriving community of changemakers. Since our inception, we have completed numerous successful projects that tackle overlooked social issues and deliver sustainable, community-centred solutions. We serve as a platform where the youth of Panadura and Sri Lanka can channel their energy into national-level activism, advocacy, and meaningful service.

Our Mission

To empower young individuals through meaningful service, leadership development, fellowship, and collaboration — creating positive and sustainable change in communities while upholding the spirit of "Yeomen Service Towards Humanity."

Our Vision

To be a leading Rotaract club that inspires young leaders to serve humanity, foster innovation, and create a lasting impact within local and global communities.
